V.F.R. donates musical equipment to Vets Open Mic Mondays!

Veterans Foundation Relief is proud to support creative healing and self-expression by donating professional musical equipment to Veterans Open Mic Mondays.

Join us every Monday between 10am and 3pm at Building 306 on Dewey Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90049, located on the West L.A. VA campus.

The donation—featuring microphones, speakers, stands, and many instruments such as a drum kit, electric keyboard and more—aims to enhance the experience for participating Veterans, offering better sound quality and a more welcoming, professional environment. Veterans are welcome to bring their own instruments, or use some of ours!

Open Mic Mondays is a safe, supportive space where Veterans can come together, share their talents, and express themselves through music. These gatherings provide a consistent source entertainment for not only V.A. visitors, but also those who get involved and join in the fun.

All Veterans are welcome to attend and are encouraged to play alongside the incredible Heroes Band—a group of talented Veterans who bring passion, energy, and heart to the stage every single week.

At V.F.R., we know that music can be a powerful tool for healing, and we’re honored to help create spaces where our nation’s heroes can be heard.
