About V.F.R.
Who Are We
A nonprofit organization, built to serve our Veterans
Veterans Foundation Relief Inc. was established to help and assist veterans with all their day to day needs.
Passion for helping Veterans succeed drives us forward. We host social events, provide access to recreational activities, and support our military Veterans with food, clothing, and especially information they can use to get the help and support that they are entitled to.
By Veterans,
for Veterans
With over 50 years of firsthand experience transitioning from military to civilian life, we know how hard it can be.
Using Proven Strategies
We don't just talk the talk; we walk the walk. Our strategies are tried, tested, and proven to improve Veteran lives.
With Complete
Transparency
All of our generous donors will know what’s being done, who’s being helped, and how far their support reaches.
Our mission
Our mission is simple: To support Veterans in their transition back to civilian life by connecting them with resources, providing them with the right information, access to food, water & housing, as well as treatment options, and giving them the community support they need to heal, recover, and thrive.
We aim to:
- Provide information on programs and resources that Veterans are entitled to
- Help other nonprofits in achieving goals which align with our own
- Help Veterans find affordable housing vacancies
- Arrange transportation to recreational activities, events and resources for Veterans
- Help Veterans navigate the VA system and other services
- Build a community support network for Veterans
- Ensure that donations directly contribute to improving Veterans lives after service
- Find volunteers who believe in our mission to help us achieve our goals
- Partner with companies to provide food, clothing, shelter and much more
- Educate the public on the real challenges our heroes face after service
We believe in transparency, integrity, and a commitment to delivering results for our Veterans.
We won't hide where the money goes—every dollar will be accounted for and put directly toward supporting Veterans in meaningful, measurable ways. From outreach programs and mental health support to building resource networks and covering essential startup costs, we’ll provide regular updates so you can see exactly how your generosity is making an impact. We’re building this organization on trust, integrity, and accountability—because our Veterans deserve nothing less, and so do the people who step up to support them.
Who Am I
I am Eugene Martin, a U.S. Veteran. I proudly served my country as a member of the U.S. Navy before transitioning back into civilian life.

My experiences during my naval career and my time after being discharged from the military had a deep impact on how I live and feel, and act the way I do. The transition was difficult—mentally, emotionally, and physically. It took time, treatment, and tremendous support from the West L.A. VA to help me regain stability and rediscover purpose. I had a lot of difficulty adjusting to a normal lifestyle, which is still hard at times, but thanks to the knowledge I gained, the personal growth I’ve gone through and help that I’ve received over the last 50 years, I have come to understand what Veterans really go through during and after their service and I would like to do my part in helping and giving back that what was given to me, passing it on to others for an easier, softer way of transitioning back in to a normal lifestyle.
That’s why on January 21st, 2025, I founded the Veterans
Foundation Relief, a nonprofit organization created to give back, support
and guide other struggling Veterans to get access to the right information and
resources to help them face the difficulties of trying to adjust to civilian
lifestyle. The journey to overcoming what many have faced in military service
and combat situations is challenging, especially for Veterans recovering from
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) that emerged during or after their time
spent serving our country.

How can I help?
You can contribute monetarily to help us reach our goals and continue providing our services. Alternatively, donating Clothing, Food & Water, Vehicles, or even access to Venues & Equipment for events also goes a long way in helping U.S. Veterans. Finally, if you have the time, you can also Volunteer to help us organize and manage Events, Distribute Supplies, Transport Veterans, Assist in Recreational Activities and Connecting Veterans to the right resources that can help ease their transition to civilian life.
What sets you apart?
We’ve seen firsthand how difficult it is to find the information Veterans need. We know how hard it is for Veterans to get the support they’ve earned without having to jump through hoops and search for needles in haystacks. We’ve witnessed with our own eyes the incredible number of roadblocks standing in the way of getting the resources needed in order to readjust to civilian life, and we want to change that more than anyone.
What's your goal?
Being of service to Veterans in all areas of their lives. Helping them transition to a normal lifestyle, and leave behind trauma and pain in order to find happiness and fulfillment.
